My Side of the Story

"Tell your side of the story to your community, tell people your part of agriculture..."
I am told this at every agriculture event I attend; FFA Missouri State Convention, Washington Leadership Conference, Missouri Agribusiness Academy. I didn't know how I could tackle that challenge and get my story out to the consumer. I love to write and take photos, so the idea of Rural Culture was born.

My friend Ethan and I at the "FDR" Memorial in Washington, D.C. at WLC.
My name is Jessica Poisal and I live in Harrisonville Missouri. My grandparents' live and operate a Missouri Century Farm (meaning the farm has been owned by my family for over a hundred years) and I help raise angus cattle. I am heavily involved in my local FFA chapter and 4H club. I am currently the Historian of my FFA chapter and Vice President of my 4H club.
I love to put my words into writing and capture a moment in time on film.
Agriculture is a huge part of my life, thank you for giving me the chance to tell my stories.
