With the start of school already underway FFA activities follow shortly behind. Just last week we held our first FFA chapter meeting of the year.
I jumped out of my softball jersey from our game that night and into my officer shirt, jeans, and boots. Even though this is my second year on the officer team I was really nervous for our first meeting. I haven't been able to attend our September meeting due to softball games, and this is our biggest meeting of the year. During this meeting we decide many of our biggest decisions; our field trip, fundraiser, and chapter t shirt.
I have been looking forward to the beginning of the school year for only one reason; FFA. I have several goals and expectations of this year in FFA. I am planning on being involved in the organization as much as possible and get everything out of it that I can. This organization has helped me be more confident in myself as a leader and a person and I am excited for this year to take off!
