Missouri Amendment 1

It seems to be that when an 18 year old is interested in registering to vote is only during the presidential election. Being the one that supports Missouri Agriculture, I was really excited that I could vote YES for "Right to Farm" Amendment 1.
Originally the amendment was going to be voted on in November of 2014. Governor Nixon moved it to August 5th, 9 days before my 18th birthday. While I am unable to vote YES, I hope you learn why it is important for this amendment to pass.
You may have seen signs like this one when travelling through rural Missouri. Please vote YES on Amendment 1!

Amendment 1 is designed to protect Missouri's Agriculture industry and its small farmers. If passed the amendment will protect Missouri agriculture from out of state anti-agriculture groups. These groups have attacked small farmers in the past, because they are small farmers they do not have the resources to fight these groups in court. Agriculture is the largest industry in Missouri, it provides many jobs to people.
Here are some links and videos to help you understand the "Right to Farm" Amendment 1!

Agriculture is vital not only for our state, but for our country. On August 5th please vote YES on Amendment 1.
