Never Procrastinate When You Have to Keep a Recordbook

With school starting that also means that FFA is starting to pick back up. This year I am taking Agribusiness Management and I am really excited.

In FFA we have a Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE) that is personalized to each member. For my SAE I work and raise angus-based cattle on my grandparents' farm. For the past two years I have also smoked and showed a country ham at District and  State Fair. Naturally I include this blog into my SAE, but for everyone it is different.
Each FFA member has to keep a record book for their project. A couple years ago we did our books with pen a paper. That was a struggle for many of us (including myself)! My sophomore year we switched to electronic books.
Even though it is easier to do the math with the computer I sadly still procrastinate till the day we need to turn them in for a grade. And every time after that I make it my goal to update often so I will not forget the hours I worked or the money I earned. And that always last another two weeks.
Even if its not a record book for FFA, remember to keep track of things. It is not fun to be scrambling at the last minute to remember three months ago. Trust me, I am dealing with it right now.
